Today the Direct Democracy Project met for its first Critical Mass ride, where we took to the streets of Bloomington and Normal to promote bicycle safety and push for bike lanes and more bike infrastructure in town. The group met at the McLean County Museum of History in downtown Bloomington and rode en masse down the Main Street corridor to the Uptown Normal roundabout. Many riders wore signs encouraging passing cars to "Share the Road".

We hope to make Blono Critical Mass a regular Direct Democracy Project event, with a ride taking place on the final Friday of each mont
